Grants/Technology Coordinator - Region 5

Hiring Range: $11.56/hr. - $14.56/hr.


Responsible for monitoring the budgetary and financial compliance of all ELRC region 5 provider/agency grant awards.


Bachelor’s Degree with two (2) years relevant experience or Associates, Business or Technical Degree (Certification) with three (3) years relevant experience.


Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software, knowledge of fund accounting; excellent analytical and problem solving skills, effective personal and interpersonal communication skills, independent, self-motivated and the ability to work with minimum supervision.


  • Providing guidance and direction to the contract process in PELICAN from pending to the issuing of a check for all grants.
  • Collaborates with Quality Coaches in developing, compiling, reconciling, balancing reports for awarded grants.
  • Schedules monthly meetings to communicate and collaborate with the ELRC Managers and Assistant Director, STARS Quality Coaches, and ELRC Financial Services Department regarding grant expenditure reports.
  • Tracks, reports and prepares accounts payable documentation for expenditures relating to all ELRC grant award agreements.
  • Prepares all grant award agreements for funded initiatives/awards in collaboration with the STARS Quality Coaches.
  • Enters all grant information into the PELICAN system accurately and timely.
  • Works to assure the fiscal integrity, accountability, and adherence to proper auditing documentation and guidelines of the Keystone STARS program.
  • Assists the ELRC Managers and Assistant Director in planning and implementing procedures that maintain or enhance the ELRC’s fiscal integrity.
  • Maintains all on-site fiscal record keeping, databases, and spreadsheets as directed or assigned.
  • Serves as a liaison with providers in receiving returned funds and approving budget revisions.
  • Reviews service delivery expenditures; verifies accuracy, documents changes and suggests revisions as necessary.
  • Verifies information on discrepancies with appropriate staff or vendor corrects any information verified as incorrect.
  • Resolves problems or discrepancies with grantees, Financial Services and program staff regarding reports and requests.
  • Processes, assists, with and prepares correspondence, reports and other materials as necessary for the ELRC management.
  • Maintains accurate and monthly grant status reports that align with the fiscal allocation screen in PELICAN.
  • Monitors and tracks the Specials Initiative Grants, by developing the contracts, entering into PELICAN and reviewing budgets for accuracy.
  • Maintains high levels of consumer satisfaction.
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality when working with sensitive and personal client, vendor, employee and contract information.
  • Must effectively deal with sensitive information and occurrences.
  • Displays consistent professionalism and courtesy when interacting with internal and external customers.
  • Promotes and supports the mission, imperative, values and goals of the YWCA maintaining high-performance standards.
  • Participates in YWCA professional development opportunities successfully implementing new skills, knowledge, and procedures.
  • Performs other such duties as may be assigned within the scope of the ELRC.
