Technology Resource Coordinator

Hiring Range:  $12.87/hr - $16.87/hr

JOB SUMMARY:

Performs technological and course administration to monitor and approve professional development within the PD Registry as well as, supporting instructors, professional development organizations and provider with access and functionality.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor’s degree with 2 years relevant experience or Associates, Business, or Technical Degree (Certification) with three (3) years relevant experience, with strong technology background. and good communication skills.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.  Knowledge of Constant Contact and Survey Monkey to assist in PD awareness and provider needs. Strong human relations, communications, telephone and organizational skills are mandatory.  The ability to work on several projects at one time is necessary, and ability to create and/or maintain a system which supports the PA Key PD Registry and the use of on-line course training system.  Ability to operate various office machines/equipment is essential.  

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees the providers and instructors use of the PD Registry by providing technical support in an accurate and professional manner.
  • Supports not only the providers but also the staff for the efficient operation of the department.
  • Enters data to the registry and revenue spreadsheet which is pertinent to departmental needs.
  • Prepares and distributes the weekly PD electronic newsletter to be sent to all practitioners and partners in the 11 counties we support in the Southwestern part of PA. Will work in conjunction with the development department of the YWCA for accuracy and branding in regards to the FYI release. To include hosting Adobe Connect meetings and webinars per the Department request and/ or ELRC 3, 5, or 6. 
  • Approves, monitors, and checks the Southwest Regions Professional Development on the PA Key Registry. Create and manage the Professional Development location tracker for support to the PDI/PDO’s for planning purposes. 
  • Enters coursework onto the registry and approves advertising requests for the weekly FYI through independent submissions. 
  • Collaborates with the STARS PD/TA Manager, PD Specialist, Infant/Toddler Specialist, and Keystone STARS Quality Coaches in providing on-line workgroups, trainings, correspondence to the field, and postings.
  • Assists in the development of the quarterly newsletter.
  • Generates weekly tracking reports for the Professional Development Department, Director and STAR Managers to assure benchmark compliance, and PRI accountability
  • Orders Professional Development training materials and resources from the warehouse when needed in at timely manner.
  • Sorts, opens, stamps, posts out-going mail, and deliver in-coming mail and faxes on the day it is received, as needed.
  • Performs customer service by answering telephones and email correspondence, courteously and promptly, and returns calls as necessary.
  • Is prepared to offer assistance to other clerical staff regarding the day-to-day operations of the PD/TA team.
  • Maintains high levels of consumer and provider satisfaction, to assist the YWCA PD/TA in meeting the benchmarks assigned by OCDEL
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality when working with sensitive and personal client, vendor, employee and contract information.
  • Will work in conjunction with co-workers and management to achieve Affirmative Action goals.
  • Displays consistent professionalism and courtesy when interacting with internal and external customers.
  • Promotes and supports the mission, imperative, values and goals of the YWCA and DHS maintaining high performance standards.
  • Participates in YWCA and DHS professional development opportunities successfully implementing new skills, knowledge and procedures.
  • Participates in other activities assigned within the scope of the YWCA PD/TA and ELRC  Departments.


WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Ability to lift, carry and otherwise move up to 15 pounds on a regular basis
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, kneel, reach, push, pull, or walk for various lengths of time throughout the day
  • Ability to utilize computer equipment to complete daily work responsibilities
  • Ability to operate fax/copy machines, telephone, calculator and general office equipment on a daily basis
  • Daily work in an office environment and with frequent travel to client sites with exposure to weather conditions
  • Available to work 7 hours per day and/or 35 hours per week or more as necessary to meet Association objectives.
  • Ability to travel for meetings, agency trainings and other miscellaneous work assignments within or outside of Allegheny County.
