YWCA Greater Pittsburgh offers supportive and affordable housing programs for homeless low-income individuals and their children. The YW also offers affordable housing options for low-income families who meet certain income criteria. The objective of the YW’s Housing Program is to help families establish safe, affordable, permanent housing as an important foundation for self-sufficiency and economic stability.
Permanent, supportive housing for homeless individuals with a substance abuse and/or mental health diagnosis or HIV/AIDS. This programs is for single individuals and individuals with children.
Permanent, supportive housing for dually diagnosed individuals (those struggling with both drug/alcohol addiction and mental illness), and their children.
YW Homes, Inc. is a wholly owned, non-profit subsidiary of YWCA Greater Pittsburgh. The purpose of YW Homes, Inc. is to create affordable housing choices for low-income families in those communities that do not provide such options.
