Keystone STARS

YWCA Greater Pittsburgh serves as the Early Learning Resource Center for Region 5 (Allegheny County), a partner with Butler County Children’s Center (Early Learning Resource Center for Region 3) and Center for Community Action (Early Learning Resource Center for Region 6). We implement Pennsylvania’s Early Learning Keys to Quality, an integrated and coordinated system of program quality improvement that supports Early Childhood Education (ECE) and School-Age Care (SAC) programs. 

Counties serviced under the Early Learning Resource Center Model (ELRC) effective 7-2-2018.
ELRC 3 - Butler, Beaver, Lawrence, Indiana, and Armstrong Counties
ELRC 5 - Allegheny County
ELRC 6 - Somerset, Bedford, Franklin, Fulton, Huntingdon, Blair, and Cambria Counties.

In addition YWCA Greater Pittsburgh offers Professional Development and Technical Assistance (PDTA) to the ECE field and SAC programs supported by the PAKEY. Servicing the following counties: Beaver, Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland, Greene, Fayette, Somerset, Bedford, Franklin, Fulton, and Huntingdon.
