Breast Health Programs

image description

Just over 20 years ago, Congress created the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Detection Program to improve access to timely breast cancer screening and diagnostic services for low-income, uninsured, and underserved women. YWCA's ENCOREplus program began soon after as a grassroots-structured, community-based, country-wide effort encouraging women to take charge of their breast health.

Today, we offer Cancer Screening Referrals - referrals, support, and yearly reminders for free or low-cost clinical breast exams, mammograms, pap tests, and HPV vaccines. Call 412-255-1471.
